Dear Friends,

We are all aware that we live in a unique time in history. The nations are growing more violent, yet more people are being saved than ever before. The world is moving toward one-world government, yet more and more people are doing their own thing. The old 'isms' are on the rise - secularism, humanism, militarism, nationalism, yet the Church of Jesus Christ is crossing all barriers to plant churches in every nation, tribe and language.

God is getting the job done because behind the darkness the glory of God is shining through His Church, His Body. As we travel through the nations, we work alongside the 'nobodies' and the 'some bodies', the large ministries and the hidden ministries, with governments, businesses, theatres, schools, and ordinary, every day people. We reach out to folks in taxis, sports arenas, media events, courthouses, restaurants, and street corners. People of all ages in every culture are looking for truth, hope and love. And it's thrilling to come alongside bankers, lawyers, musicians, teens, pensioners, singles, couples, moms and dads, children, rich and poor, all fully committed, sold-out Christians giving their all for Christ and His call to share life-giving truth with their world.

The Old Testament Prophets were often filled with warnings of disaster. Yet they also shared and shouted redemption. We live in such a time now when the Church is weak and yet strong, small and great, dead and yet alive, and like Haggia we need FAITH to see that "the glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house." Yes, the Church has problems today, but more importantly, the Church has GOD! And He said, "the gates of Hell will not prevail against the Church!"

When Communism swept across China, killing, destroying, imprisoning and banishing Christians, all seemed lost. But 50 years later there are more on-fire Christians in China than in any other nation on earth!

Here in Europe it is reported by the media that there are fewer and fewer Christians, and it can be tempting to ask as Haggia did in 2:19, "Is there yet any seed left in the barn?" The answer is "YES!" All it takes is God's blessing and suddenly a small boy's lunch can feed thousands. As we speak the truth about Jesus in the love of God, the power of the Good News still seeks and saves the lost!

So let's not grow weary in well-doing, whether large or small, because in due season we will reap the harvest! We are grateful for your prayers to help with the harvest here in Europe. Souls are being saved because you pray and God is faithful!

We've just returned to the UK from Austria where we were privileged to meet old friends and minister to believers in Vienna. We also met up with some "New Friends" in Linz and Graz and hope to return next year to host another Side By Side Pastors Marriage Retreat in the beautiful mountains around Innsbruck. Please pray for this event and the couples who will attend. Pray that the Holy Spirit moves more and more powerfully in each Church and that the recent wave of University students being saved will continue.

We would really love to meet you and tell you first hand what God is doing here. Pray for the fire to burn brightly through us as we share God's heart for Europe. And please continue to stand with us for SOULS, so the "the glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house!"
