Ministry and Media

Josh and Shelley, along with their daughters, Kalei and Kya, have a passion for people all over the world to hear about Christ's life-changing power. Josh has been privvy to a life of evangelism, and has been front row to what God wants to do, and is doing in the world today.

Josh and Shelley met in 2000, during a missions trip to the Philippines. While ministering in Manila, a typhoon hit a place called "Smoky Mountain", the world's 2nd largest landfill. The people who live at the base of this "mountain" as well as all up the sides of it, were killed in the landslide caused by the typhoon. Over 3000 people were killed, including an elementary school not far from the base. While working with the victims, and helping them to dig out, Josh and Shelley were forged in their calling, to rescue those that are closest to death, -- in short, disaster relief missions. Their lives are a continual pursuit of this calling, while letting God work out the timing and details.

They currently reside in Southern California, and are honored to be able to minister with their church: New Life Church in Santa Barbara. Previously, they were the College pastors of a church in Worcester, MA, and now lead a small group in their home, as well as are involved in worship and other areas of serving their church. Josh has also spoken several times at their church, including to the youth group. He has a gifting and anointing in preaching and ministering, which will change your life if you let it. Shelley finds her ministry through graphics, web and media, and currently works for DCM and New Life Church. She also leads a women's Bible study group weekly.
